C.12 EX-86

PAK EX-86 Cold Protection Fabric is a durable, woven polypropylene, which blocks wind and helps reduce heat loss. The fabric is semitransparent to allow in sunlight. The fabric diffuses light, helps eliminate the solar "hot spots" associated with traditional poly and is air and water permeable. The fabric is highly UV stabilized for multi season use.

Note: Holes are required for use on flat roof structures.

C.13 EX-02 Clear

PAK EX-02-C Clear Cold Protection Fabric is a woven high-density polyethylene, which blocks wind and helps reduce heat loss. The fabric is more transparent than our EX-86, allowing in greater sunlight. EX-02C also diffuses light, which helps eliminate the solar "hot spots" associated with traditional poly and is air and water permeable. High UV stabilization gives the fabric a multi season life-span.

C.14 1212-C

PAK 1212-C Cold Protection Fabric is a heavy duty, woven, coated polyethylene, which blocks wind and rain and helps reduce heat loss. The fabric is semitransparent and allows about 75% light transmission. 1212-C's rugged nature makes it well suited for windy applications, and its high UV stabilization ensures a long life-span. Heat-sealed seams are available; call PAK for details.

C.15 8053 & 8010-Clear

PAK 8053 & 8010-C Cold Protection Fabrics are durable, lightweight, woven, coated polyethylene. The double sided 1.5 mil. coating allows the fabric to block wind and rain and helps prevent heat loss. The fabric is highly UV stabilized for extended life.

Characteristics:

• 8053 allows in 43% sunlight.
• 8010-C allows in 85% sunlight.
• Highly UV stabilized.

C.17 SolarPAK 8

SolarPAK 8 is a lightweight, tough, woven-coated polyethylene sheeting. It is more durable than normal poly films. The film is extremely resistant to ripping or "zippering". SolarPAK 8 blocks wind and rain and helps prevent heat loss. It also has antifog finish inhibiting fog or haze and also helps to prevent drip formation. SolarPAK 8 is available in two versions high clarity (12% shade) and high diffusion (50% shade). Seams can be heat-sealed for a complete barrier.

Special Note: the blue strip in the above samples illustrates the relative opacity/transparency of the various fabrics.

C.16 WeatherBond CCF

PAK WeatherBond CCF (Crop Cover Fabric) is a nonwoven, spunbonded polypropylene fabric designed to protect crops from cold, frost, insects and a variety of other adverse environmental factors. The lightweight fabric will help capture and retain heat. It is breathable and allows good air circulation. The 0.5 oz. fabric also provides a very light shade.

D.18 WeatherBond

PAK weatherBond is a nonwoven, spunbonded, polypropylene fabric designed to help protect crops from cold, frost, insects, deer, predatory animals and a variety of adverse environmental factors. The light-weight fabric not only helps shield and camouflage crops from hungry animals and insects. It will also help capture and retain heat on cold evenings. This breathable fabric allows good air circulation and the 0.5 oz. fabric also provides a very light shade.

C.01 Greenhouse Sidewall Curtains

C.02 Zone Heating Curtains

Create custom temperature zones with these durable curtains. Make more efficient use of your heat by using our curtains to divide off your growing area into zones of different temperatures. PAK's zone heating curtains allow you to create custom partitions based on the heat requirements of your various crops. These semitransparent, nighttime curtains are made of a lightweight, breathable material, which traps heat near plants while also allowing a moderate amount of air circulation. Can be fabricated with velcro or zippered edges to attach to framework. Lightweight, easy to install and work with.

C.03 Greenhouse Sub-roof Fabric

Adaptable greenhouse sub-roof fabric. Our light-transmitting fabric offers a haven for crops from temperature extremes and loss of heat through convection. A greenhouse sub-roof creates an insulating "dead air" layer at gutter height that acts as a barrier to heat loss through the greenhouse roof (where 68% of all heat escapes). The fabric also traps and helps to hold radiant heat by reflecting it back towards the crops. The fabric can be made to accept zip-on walls for added heat retention and protection from the elements. When installed gutter to gutter and down the sidewalls, heat ceiling fabrics can reduce the amount of space requiring heat by as much as 30% to 50%.

C.04 Panel Storage Covers

Protect your fabrics when they're not in use. Winter covers that are retracted during the spring and summer need to be covered to reduce their exposure to UV rays and extend their life-span. An easy way to shield them from premature UV deterioration is to cover them with our inexpensive storage covers. The storage covers easily slip over retracted panels effectively shielding them from sunlight and protecting them from wind and rain.

C.05 Shadehouse Winterizing Covers

Protect your crops from winter weather with our durable shadehouse covers. PAK's insulating shadehouse covers will make a noticeable improvement in your ability to hold heat in your shade structure through the cold nights and keep heating costs down. These covers help maximize the efficiency of your heating system by trapping more valuable heat in your structure and helping insulate crops from chilling and drying winds. They arrive ready to install with edge: that are reinforced all the way around using rein for cement tape and sewn with UV resistant monofilament thread. C.06 Row Crop Covers

Many types of plant protection from this one fabric. Our spunbonded crop covers help protect your crops from insects, wind, rain and (using our optional lightweight version) burning sun. Draped over plants or hung on wire hoops, the covers work in any growing environment and can also be staked into the ground (with optional PAK ground staples) for windy days. C.08 Heat-sealed Greenhouse Covers

Our heat-sealed covers stay tough through wind and weather. Unlike traditional poly film, PAK's heat-sealed quonset covers won't rip to shreds while protecting your crops from hail, wind and rain. Our covers are made of a special material that is highly resistant to ripping and "zippering". The material and seams are waterproof and UV resistant for multiple seasons of outdoor service. A special anti-fog/anti-drip finish applied at the factory inhibits fog or haze from clouding the light transmission of the material. Our custom-sized covers are made with 1 to 1.5" wide heat-sealed seams (as required) with optional reinforced edges, which allow you to securely tie down the cover in high wind environments. Available in high clarity and diffused (slight shade) varieties.

C.11 Thermal Blankets

Breathable thermal blankets work both day and night. Our thermal plant blankets help protect your crops from cold, insects, wind and rain while letting them breathe. The blankets trap ground heat near plants, block nighttime winds and are air-permeable to reduce heat buildup during the day. The covers can be draped over plants or hung on wire hoops and can also be staked into the ground with PAK ground staples (H.13). UV inhibitors make these tough and lightweight blankets last for multiple growing seasons.
